Unlike most bookcase secretaries, this one has a curio box with a beveled and leaded door.

In addition to the ball and claw feet, there are several carved figured faces on the piece.

Both the curved glass door and the drop lid are lockable, and have keys.

All shelves are original and adjustable.

Mirrors are original but are re silvered.
