This attorney's file was originally used to categorize and store wills, deeds, and other tri-fold legal papers.
Each drawer has an interior slide to hold documents toward the front for a more orderly storage.
All hardware is brass and is 100% original.
An unusual part is the independent section of 2 writing boards that may be placed anywhere one wishes within the 4 document section.
There is also a large drawer in the base of the file.
Other than the back, there is no new wood.
This file is manufactured by Gunn of Grand Rapids.
